Fire at Kuwait City

We had gone to church today evening .. i did notice smoke at while on Gulfroad.. but when we reach darwaza … there was this huge construction building  with 3 to 4 floors on top totally ablaze. We parked a safe distance, and tried to get some pictures from our cellphones , but being dark .. the phones was really bad…

Once we reached home,  i was looking around the net if anyone got the shot… finally the online arabic  news paper ALAAN , got it… with their story about it .(in Arabic). Its the first time i have seen such a major blaze in kuwait. That too at sich height .. i hope no one was hurt or injured. I hope the building owner has insurance to claim.

Gaming Centre!

Im thinking of opening a gaming centre, back in India… im not too sure though, didnt get enough support from family and few friends. so i was wondering if any one of you could give me ideas. Im thinking of a full fledged thing, with gaming seats, LAN games, Xbox and even a Nintendo Wii Arena . Everything with LCD screens . Maybe organise Championships!! … i even designed a logo for it!

What do you think?

Kuwait Crime?????

I noticed in Arab times website today , that they made a special Category called “Kuwait Crime”.. how come? is it that there is so much crime , that it doesnt sumarise it self under a category called “Kuwait” ?. Why not a ”World Crime” or “Business Crime” too under their respective main topics…  Media can spoil a country :-(

Been Busy!!!

I have been too busy last 8 days. Lots of meetings, discussions, things to do , support calls and all squeezed into the 9 to 3 work timings since most companies i know work this time. My phone has been ringing every 10 mins … :-( .

I have had hardly anytime to blog about things … but in the next week.. alot of things will change…. new topics , new things … i really got a lot to tell..!!

I arrived to Kuwait on Thursday early morning. But something extremely tragic happened back in Goa. One of my dogs went missing, and my mom and sister went berserk trying to search for him. They were already upset with me leaving them for Kuwait and now the event of their 11 year ol dog missing , had left my mom in an extremely dangerous situation as she is suffering from high blood pressure.

Lousy Internet Service!!

Im in Goa right now .  and im trying to be connected to my work and pending tasks from back in Kuwait. being in a remote area, there is no broadband(DSL) and dialup sucks due to low copper quality . So people have to live with GPRS. Airtel (India’s leading telecommunications) has come out with its AIRCARD (manufactured by “Option”).  They say it uses the EDGE network for internet services.. But i highly doubt it . to what i have connected in different key locations it only uses GPRS , which highly is sad.

The NightRide!

Its raining heavily in Goa … the last showers of the monsoon , which is thundering, and violent winds. I had to go for a prayer event at my inlaws yesterday. I was not quite used to roads by car. so i decided to take my “trusty” Suzuki Samurai. Goa roads are a  terror and not meant for the feeble at heart…  Continue reading ‘The NightRide!’
