Another Puppy Rescue….! Way to Go – Mel & Animal Friends

Submitted by rayboy on April 25, 2009 – 9:27 am11 Comments

My Sister in law, mel while coming from work, saw a puppy almost run over by cars in farwaniya, so she stopped in the middle of the road and managed to get the puppy to safety… She called us up, informing us about the puppy, so she got the puppy home. I called AFL, they guided us what to do.

But when mel reached home, somehow the puppy being in a major shocked state, so it went under her front seat and somehow got stuck there.. We spent almost 40 mins trying to take him out. Finally, we managed to slide the puppy through a gap , after removing the fireextingusher latch.

We decided to keep the puppy for 4 hours at home as it was in a very bad state of mind and had basically no emotions, or feelings. We got it fed, he slept for 2 hours and by evening he was bubbly and attempted to play with us. Later in the night we dropped him off to AFL.

Great work Mel, and AFL…

Ali: yes it seemed to be around 2 to 3 months old… it was really scared. Scared of every sound, it took quite a while to adjust to the sounds in our house.

Thank god dogs do not need ID’s if lost in kuwait….or else chances of deportation could be a possibility…..lol

Great job rescuing little puppy…..AFL, Mel, Ray

Hope people have some sense to not abandon their pups or allow the pups to get lost. Wish they could somehow feel to know what it is like to be lost in this hot summer and in the traffic and not amongst their species.
