When i was kid, back pre-invasion times, i used to watch the V Series quite passionately. It was Science Fiction TV series , of Rodent type aliens Lizard type aliens coming to earth and trying to invade it totally. What amazed me the most, was the Square Laser type guns. I recently purchase the First Season from amazon… it just brought back memories.
One of my favs! if memory serves me right they use to air it every Friday back in the day. What a funny coincidence you mentioning one of the old TV shows because just last week i ordered Beauty and Beast season 1 and 2

I remember the series although not too vividly. They used to have this huge spaceship hovering above the earth. And they had this chick called Diana (who I thought was really hot back in the day) and I think she was one of the leaders of the aliens who were called the Visitors. I suppose thats here the “V” comes from.
If I’m not mistaken this is the first series where Marc Singer was noticed. Although he didn’t star in many blockbuster movies he did star in a few exciting cold war movies in the 80s.
Don’t know what happened at the end of the series, didn’t watch it with as much interest as I did Knight Rider, Moonlighting and Misfits of Science.

Barry: Yeah , Diana is the chick , which i posted on this topic. Infact , when i watched the DVDs from amazon, i noticed many scenes cut off (due to kuwait censorship). Diana was involved in many kissing scenes and sexual advances.
Well im still waiting for the season finale , which is not out on DVD as yet … maybe i will post some spoilers

Does anyone wanna give Twillight Zone the credit it deserves? In fact I wonder if I could get the DVDS somehow… There’s not enough good horror in the world today anyway!
FC: id prefer Alfred hitchcock , than Twilight zone. He used to give the creeps even before the episode beings!.
Alfred hitchcock did more with his music than with the film or TV series he used to make. But they had the desired affect nonetheless!
I amost forgot Twillight Zone Flaming Carrot! NOw that was a spooky show! I think the X Files took their que from them. I still hear the music in my head sometimes!
Wow, V - that was so long ago. I remember they ate humans too! Remember these people came to some plant and one of the resistance guys, after looking in one of the capsules, says “They’re shipping food!”
I also remember when some kid is painting graffiti over a poster of the Visitors and someone stops him and says “no…” then sprays a ‘V’ over it and says V- for victory”. Some of those scenes just stick in memory. Wasn’t there also a girl who was born half human half reptilian also?
Anyways would love to see that series again just for fun. As for Twilight Zone- great sci-fi series. I also used to watch the Outer Limits.
