Rayboy

Blackie is my 3 Year old doberman. He is based in Goa. Blackie, is a doberman champion breed. Certified by KCI(Kennel Club of India). He was imported from Kerela, through Vibin’s father. He was sent via a Jet Airways flight while he was just 45 days. He had come with his companion “brownie” another female doberman.

Brownie lived to be 2 years , 8 months. She died over a serious illness. We were worried that blackie, would be depressed over the demise of brownie. But somehow it never bothered him. Blackie grew to be a strong, extremely aggressive dog(towards strangers). Extremely possessive of my mom and sister, and wouldnt allow anyone to come even 5 metres radial distance to them.

Apart from his strong and aggressive nature, he is a wonderful family dog. loves to get his neck scratched. a sleep in the cool flooring in our house. He is usually in his caged kennel at home. he keeps ripping any warm material we put for him.

My Mom, believes that dogs must be taught to have vegetarian foods as well. Thus making blackie to be very fond of steamed cauliflower, carrot & spinach. His meat diet is limited to only 3 times a week.He starts the day With a fresh milk/bread breakfast.

Due to abandance of fruits(grown-bananas and papayas)Â at home. Blackie joins us to have a bite( or gulp) of papaya slice.

I havent seen a dog which eat fruits , with pleasure.I have just requested for new companion for blackie, which will be arriving this coming friday. will keep theb log posted.
