For quite a while … people wonder ? whats going to hit the world ? … new inventions ? new clothes lines ? flying cars ? whats that one thing which will make big noise!!!! which everyone will know ….
….. and there … comes an annoying little frog …”Crazy Frog” as they call it….
Early September , Yahoo Decided to “Deactivated” my Yahoo Voice Service( to make cheap international calls) . The Reason … “im not living in US” . They just closed it .. no reasons .. no emails nothing .. So i shoot them an email . and they say we are looking into it and it will be fixed within 3 days … 7 days later i call them back .. they say my case has been escalated to the their engineering department and it will be resolved within 3 to 5 business days.
Off late , im mentally drained, i dont know how many of you’ll fall into this trap .. Its not depression or stress … its like you are mentally tired. Its like you want to sleep , but mind says no…. or your mind says go to sleep and your body says .. no you got to work… its a confusion.
I have been pacing up and down from work, business plans , home , social activities ….. i need to slow down …. but IT people “cant” slow down

Microsoft has come out with Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2003. It came down on our servers without a warning and messed up the DNS entries. so any application which uses NSLOOKUP.exe stopped working . i dont know why.. but there doesnt seem to be any record about it . i spoke to the colocation people and they mentioned there were other bugs that the new service pack had, which we didnt experience.Â
Anyway managed to get it uninstalled , through prayers and keeping fingers crossed. the Uninstall was successful , so let hope there isnt any damage through the residue left from SP 2. IT people beware!
Life couldnt be better!… < im sarcastic!!!! >. The Month of August, has so far been an extremely bad for me. Sickness, backlog of work and now Visa issues. Somehow the company mandoop, didnt come back from his short holiday, and today is my last day on my Civil ID!! … i had told the old company to renew my residence for sometime , since my resignation came late and the new transfer cannot happen since it was too short of time. their mandoop promised to come back “on time” and he was aware of my situation.
So far nothing …… !!!!.. i dont think i will be out of the streets for a few days with an expired residence.
I work for a Web / Email Hosting & Solutions Company, so i have to handle support calls for the weirdest of things sometimes. Offlate for the last 1 month. Most of my clients have been calling us, saying that they cannot check email/webmail or Browse their own secure sites, or do FTP uploads etc while they are at Kuwait International Airport. I was wondering initially if it had to do anything with their Laptops or any wifi settings. Until i personally decided to go there and check it out… This is a technical document… sorry about it(Non IT viewers).

I found this really sad article on indiansinkuwait.com news section. Which says that the ministry of commerce and industry has allowed sale of Air Guns. Air Guns are meant for killing birds, But at short distances can harm humans , and can even kill a human at times.
With, the loads of rowdy kids on the road and troublesome groups. I think Kuwait might become a dangerous place to live in. Check out the article

Many or All of us get thousands of spam messages a day. In fact, We being into managing hosting services, we gets many more than that.So, it’s not surprising that people need relief — they want to do whatever they can to stop spam. Some are ready to invest into Computer systems costing 20,000 to 50,000 USD.

I was browsing Cyberrowdy’s Blog on how to get an Instant Barazeema for your DSL or any telephone related services. when i noticed that the MOC website is browsed on port 7777. Well i dont have a problem with this . But the MOC IT Web Admin over there should understand that Port 7777, would be blocked by firewalls all over the world. Strong Firewalls understand that basic websites should be browsed on port 80 and SSL (secure sites ) on port 443. But would block everything else. Now i would understand if MOC had some hidden web application to run on this port. But they are making their entire website run on it …
Maybe they dont want users to browse it …! 
or rather dont care!
I Live by the Gulfroad, in a peaceful neighbourhood. The Building i stay overlooks the sea, by a few 100 metres. there was this huge open space between the building & the gulfroad. And this ground is quite filled with plantation and the buzz of birds around.
