Being in the IT industry , i have been involved in fighting spam. we predicted years ago that the spam problem would quickly get out of control. And, of course, it has.
Many or All of us get thousands of spam messages a day. In fact, We being into managing hosting services, we gets many more than that.So, it’s not surprising that people need relief — they want to do whatever they can to stop spam. Some are ready to invest into Computer systems costing 20,000 to 50,000 USD.

Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, GMail and other providers are basically email services designed to provide you with email mailbox accesss directly from the web. However, going online and logging on to their sites is not always the most convenient way for reading and sending emails.
On the other hand, you have the alternative to send and receive emails through such a mailbox by using a local email client software, such as Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, Eudora, Bat etc. In order to properly use it, you need to configure your email software with the incoming and outgoing mail servers of your email provider (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail or else).

I just realised , that i havent got any postal mail for a very very long time. No greeting cards, no letters from families, or Friends from basically anywhere in the world. Initially i could blame it on EMAIL technology and say everyone is joining the “Age of Email”. But when i ran a search on my email client, i realised i dont get emails from anyone too ? 
If i look at my daily Inbox , i get like 45 geninue emails from work and things to do. 1 email from my wife. and rest 50 to 100 all spam. i dont get any more emails from friends or even families all over the world that say ” Hey Ray, how are you doing ? how is this or that”.
All i get is shorten lines,,, which say ” Hey Man, we got to get this up and running, there is this to buy, this to do. Hmmmmph .. maybe its just me ! sigh!
This is what happens ideally. In this real world, nine out of ten emails are read and then… the 10th one is totally forgotten. or if you are busy and want BAT to remind you to remind you about it..
The Bat! has a very nice feature that helps you remember these messages that you want to deal with later. It will remind you if you still haven’t replied after a day, for example, or if the message is still flagged or unread.
To make The Bat! remind you about an email later:
- Click with the right mouse button on the message in the message list.
- Select Remind later from the menu.
- Choose the desired time.
- Select the desired options for opening the email when the alarm goes off.
- Click OK.
The Bat! is an e-mail client for the Microsoft Windows operating system. The Bat! or simply Bath (to not confuse to the tobacco company of bat - b.a.t - british american tobacco tabacco, tobaco or tabaco ) development RitLabs.com one of the best email clients who is equipped almost by all necessary functions.
The given mailing program is offered in two versions: Home and Professional, differing in supported functions. I started using The Bat 6 years ago, when my outlook express crashed after an attack of the ‘I LOVE YOU’ virus. Luckily i had backup. Then i had vowed never to use Outlook express or OUtlook any more.. I was using Eudora for a short While, but wasnt too keen on it.
