I noticed this happening at all traffic signals now a days. The tar is replaced by these Tiles or bricks. I understand the fact that tar tends to wear off due to hot sun and constant moving traffic. but i dont understand whether these bricks solve it ? . They are extremely bumpy , and create a bad vibration and extremely bad for tyres.
I usually reach work by 10.30 am in the morning . One of the major cause it is of the checkpoint i face on gulfroad. i guess this has started for over 2 weeks now. The Traffic cops should understand , that creating a blockade during morning work hours , could lead to problems for the people than solving it.
I need to take a new route now 
Its Really Chilly cold these days. Its like the Winter has hit us strong and fast. I love the winter, i love cool - cold airconditioning .. . But somehow the weather outside has been extremely chilly! … it was around 10 pm i went out to meet some friends . i had my tshirt and jeans .. and it was striking cold .. i felt like going back home and picking up a jacket.
My family will be finaly happy at home, now that i will finally turn off the Airconditioning, which was on 24/7Â Â …

RedBull Organised its 1st Flugtag event in Kuwait. Zita and myself decided to drop in and cheer our bloggers who are participating in it. Unfortunately we reached a bit late and missed out on Imperial27 , but manage to get the others.
I have been a Gulf Bank Account Holder for almost 8 years now. I have found them quite excellent. i have been using their Credit Cards too for about 6 years now. And found them to be easy to use, easy to manage and quite user friendly at the helpdesk.

We had gone to church today evening .. i did notice smoke at while on Gulfroad.. but when we reach darwaza … there was this huge construction building with 3 to 4 floors on top totally ablaze. We parked a safe distance, and tried to get some pictures from our cellphones , but being dark .. the phones was really bad…
Once we reached home,  i was looking around the net if anyone got the shot… finally the online arabic  news paper ALAAN , got it… with their story about it .(in Arabic). Its the first time i have seen such a major blaze in kuwait. That too at sich height .. i hope no one was hurt or injured. I hope the building owner has insurance to claim.

I noticed in Arab times website today , that they made a special Category called “Kuwait Crime”.. how come? is it that there is so much crime , that it doesnt sumarise it self under a category called “Kuwait” ?. Why not a ”World Crime” or “Business Crime” too under their respective main topics… Media can spoil a country
