A new restuarant opened near to my apartment. The Shop which hosts “WokMaster” had to be built , so we were wondering what its all about ..Rumors said it would be a pharmacy to the near by Salmiya Clinic, some said a “Shawarma Joint” and some said a Taxi Office.
This weekend , we tried to hunt in salmiya, for a new apartment. But we came back exhausted within 1 hour. The heated winds made us parsed and dry!!!!. Well , im on a look out for a 3 bedroom apartment, CAC, 2 Bathrooms, with a car park(shaded if possible) in or around salmiya. I checked out some places in salmiya, the rents ranges from 240 to 350 …. But either the place is too tiny .. or are too old buildings, on the verge of extinction. Any one knows of any place, in this area?

I was recently making a financial study on some business plan . i just had a thought which made me Ponder. Let me be honest …. Even though im an Expat, But im born and brought up here. I basically love Kuwait… But i should be quite open about this.

I found this really sad article on indiansinkuwait.com news section. Which says that the ministry of commerce and industry has allowed sale of Air Guns. Air Guns are meant for killing birds, But at short distances can harm humans , and can even kill a human at times.
With, the loads of rowdy kids on the road and troublesome groups. I think Kuwait might become a dangerous place to live in. Check out the article
 
4 weeks ago, i mentioned that there are few things kuwait “MUST” buy. One of them included a Solar Farm to generate electricity to support the ever growing needs of the Country. Kuwait Being rich , have excess of barren Lands and Lots of Sunlight, Can easily support the use of Solar Power here. (till date i dont know why it hasnt been implement)
To my surprise , i read in Arabtimes that Kuwait is planning in the near future to “EXPORT” electricity to the world , generated by major solar farms in Kuwait. Wow thats really great news
I was browsing Cyberrowdy’s Blog on how to get an Instant Barazeema for your DSL or any telephone related services. when i noticed that the MOC website is browsed on port 7777. Well i dont have a problem with this . But the MOC IT Web Admin over there should understand that Port 7777, would be blocked by firewalls all over the world. Strong Firewalls understand that basic websites should be browsed on port 80 and SSL (secure sites ) on port 443. But would block everything else. Now i would understand if MOC had some hidden web application to run on this port. But they are making their entire website run on it …
Maybe they dont want users to browse it …! or rather dont care!
I Live by the Gulfroad, in a peaceful neighbourhood. The Building i stay overlooks the sea, by a few 100 metres. there was this huge open space between the building & the gulfroad. And this ground is quite filled with plantation and the buzz of birds around.
