Once in a while, i take time out to help “eager” and “determined” friends who want to do something special for their communities. So i had “wardog” aka Blogger “grey”, who wanted help with his theme for his Indian Rock Site www.indianrockmp3.com . Personally im not all that a ROCK fan.. but working on his site, gave some good insights into the happening ROCK industry in India.

It took me a while to get the site up, “dave” one of my programmers involved in this project, got his magic working again, since i was quite busy with my own tasks. But finally after a month of testing, importing, fixing, debugging etc. the site is finally up! . Grey, was thrilled as ever. The Guy is determined to make this site the most happening thing on indian cyberspace. i love the jest the guy has for this.!

Gifts in different shapes and sizes, gifts that don’t even slightly coincide with our tastes, gifts that we won’t know where to put once past the joy of ripping apart glittery present paper! Sometimes of course the present papers end up nicer than the gift so you’re almost always getting something; and churning out some jolly lil feeling from your heart by receiving or by giving even. I’ll post a few things up on here so you can have some gift ideas for next year if you start panicking at the last moment.

Evil Knievel who barely never blogs anymore celebrated his birthday on the 24th and we had a little “get-to-gether” at my place. Egg nog, lots of people and a few grouchy neighbours peeked out windows as the smokers congregated outside on the patio and got louder than on an average day. Very festive, indeed!

The gifts piled on as the evening rolled on, and there were little keyholder thingies that were hollow within, and you capped in a chit with information. There was a PS3 game, a year long DSL connection, some home decor, a nunchuk for the wii, some other things I probaby don’t know about and a Guitar Hero, guitar and all! That was really cool. I got an exclusive preview of the birthday boy playing The Unforgiven and video’d it just for ya! Amazing animation, isn.t it?!

….. and there … comes an annoying little frog …”Crazy Frog” as they call it….

Even though its got its annoying little noise all over their music track . i Should say , the team has a blend of remix and 3d animation. The Soul purpose of Crazy frog is to mix Old famous songs, into trendy remix with bit of mischief and art. I think they did it welll …!! You can check out a youtube video of  the Remixed “We are the champions” by Queen. 

For those who dont know who? what ? is crazy frog … check out wikipedia. Even though they are quite annoying on their videos .. but the Cd tracks have become a major hit and even used in Hollywood!….

Another thing what surprised me that even though the character is/was controversial, due to the fact that its “genitals” could be seen.. i have seen the character  in children’s toy shops etc … In some countries the Commericals or videos had to be censored , especially if it was played during Children hours. In the wikipedia definition , the controversial story is quite detailed.

So Silly things do make a big impression in the world … ! so what next? a singing shoe?
