Whats the normal salary required in Kuwait to survive the inflation? I remember when i came back to Kuwait to start my working career in 1999. i used to get around KD 65 per month(Company took advantage since i was not a proper visa. i was on my dad’s visit visa,so hence the low pay). I was a network engineer / programmer then. The KD 65 used to suffice me for KD 30 as rent and 25 for food and the balance for bus transportation and entertainment.
 I have been too busy last 8 days. Lots of meetings, discussions, things to do , support calls and all squeezed into the 9 to 3 work timings since most companies i know work this time. My phone has been ringing every 10 mins …

Im going to Goa for a short while as need to work out on my business plans. I will be online from there , doing my work and blogging as well. It seems the harvest season is going to be a bit delayed due to heavy rains … I love the rains ..i will be on my Bike too, will upload more pics and news while over there. Pray everything goes well.!

Im building an application for a shopping site. and in Windows and linux operation system the site works splendid !!! . In IE, Safari , Opera and Firefox it works really cool. But in Mac’s, im having a major problem…
I have something called a BACK button. meaning if you click on it . it will take you to the last viewed webpage .. it works everywhere .. except on macs. The Javascript is the follows :

It so simple. It tells the browser . Please go to the previous visited page. Thats it ….!!!! and mac’s dont understand that!!!!

Microsoft has come out with Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2003. It came down on our servers without a warning and messed up the DNS entries. so any application which uses NSLOOKUP.exe stopped working . i dont know why.. but there doesnt seem to be any record about it . i spoke to the colocation people and they mentioned there were other bugs that the new service pack had, which we didnt experience.Â
Anyway managed to get it uninstalled , through prayers and keeping fingers crossed. the Uninstall was successful , so let hope there isnt any damage through the residue left from SP 2. IT people beware!

Life couldnt be better!… < im sarcastic!!!! >. The Month of August, has so far been an extremely bad for me. Sickness, backlog of work and now Visa issues. Somehow the company mandoop, didnt come back from his short holiday, and today is my last day on my Civil ID!! … i had told the old company to renew my residence for sometime , since my resignation came late and the new transfer cannot happen since it was too short of time. their mandoop promised to come back “on time” and he was aware of my situation.
So far nothing …… !!!!.. i dont think i will be out of the streets for a few days with an expired residence.

I havent been keeping well for last 2 weeks , been down with flu , fever, body pain … and now with terrible cough… The Doc , has prescribed me with Antibiotics , which keeps me quite weak … so i havent been posting online for a while …. Been at home resting . Doc, said i talk “too much”.. thus not giving my thorat to rest … well my job is a consultant. Consultants talk alot ….. Now since im forced to “Shut up” , been doing alot of MSN,Google and yahoo Chatting 
I have just managed to launch my old dreams into reality , by opening up a business centre in Goa - India. Working on the same lines of Kinkos and Kwik Kopy. Im trying to build a brand, in South India. Well , the name “Wnetworx” could resemble wireless services. But i tried to focus it on “WORK - NETWORK” - A Complete Office Management firm, handling services from Basic Copying to Advanced Rented Secretarial services to Accounting and basic book keeping for SMBs.
Services also include outsourcing of Office Admins, ASP(application service provider) rentals (like internet, project management, accounting ) . It took me quite a bit of headache, family issues, employee hunt and many other problems, but finally cleared them all. .. Well i hope you’ll can give me advise on what more services i could add to make it “DIFFERENT” and to popularise as a BRAND, like KINKOS and others.
