Celebrations? or Vandalism?

Even though i wanted to avoid Gulf Road today and tomorrow and friday and saturday….!!!! i was forced to be on it while going to church, that too, for about 500 Metres only. My car was sprayed with foam, brownish water, and much more … but i was fine with it. Until i saw the following
- Kids coming and trying to force open the car doors.
- Kids running between traffic , chasing cars. Seriously i was shit scared that i might run over a Kid/s or maybe even drive over their foot. i was forced to be slow.
- Worse was the cops , who were basically everywhere… couldnt keep the crowd in control.
- Some of kids, started foaming the side mirrors, thus making it hazardous to drive.
So…. what was the celebration about?

I’ve encountered some of those brats and the scene wasn’t pleasant. All you mentioned is bad but not quite hazardous as much as spraying foam, which is flammable, over fire lighters! What the hell are they thinking?!!
By the way, just wanted to let you know I fixed my router. Thanks for the tips you gave me the other day.

It was an MTU issue as you noted and it was actually set to the right size (1492) but needs to be changed from “Auto” to “Manual”.

Surprisngly i passed several times through Gulfroad Marina Mall on my way to work and not even a small dot on my car..

I got sprayed when I visited Ahmadi park, that stuff is hard to wash off when it dries. Some of the kids were trying to force open the doors and windows of the passing cars.. yeah vandalism is the word to be used here.
