Our Central AC provided by the building has broken down …. today is the 2nd Day! and its like an Oven at home. The Maintenance People said that the complete compressor has burnt out and the model which is used by the building is out of stock. So they need more time to sort it out.
And its hell at home. Dester our pet dog is having a tough time, so im keeping him slightly wet and under a running fan, which is keeping him cold. Same thing with our love birds. My Complete IT Network is come to a grinding Halt, to avoid being burnt out and also to stop generating more Heat , to the already full blast oven.
The only good thing is that its dusty outside, which is somehow lowering the inside temperature to around 34 degrees…

wow!! the exact same thing happened to me…what happened 1st was there was a power outage, and that in turn caused the AC to malfunction, and after that the fucking AC stopped working…it took the maintainance people 2 days to fix the damn compressor…

Eddy : Yeah its been real painful. for once i was actually happy with the dust outside. the temperature reached 34 in the house. it would have increased if the dust wasnt there.

Update : the guys finally got the compressor and got it installed after 4 hours of installation time. the place is slowly getting back to normal

@Ray: Did you know that you can file a grievance at any lawyer’s office against the “Owner of the building” stating an amenity was not available as promised in the complex contract; and if the attorney sees a case, a minimum of; either cash 6 months rent; or 6 months of free rent.
I had a drill bit M*F* who kept parking in my spot,I went to my lawyer’s office and he advised me to take a few pictures of the car being parked on diffent dates. After that the case was filed against the owners; settled for 8 months rent for the grievance, and the lawyer took 25% of the amount as his fees.
Oh … didnt know that … I guess too late for that now.. they gave me a brand new compressor and the house is cold and nice
