My Wife got this shot, in Goa this february. She is trying her hand with photography. Still at the basics. There was this blend of colors between the actual sunset and bright road lights, The whole environment was reddish with an outburst of lights at the horizon.
She took this shot, with the road floodlight at her back , with the sun just setting, with the last remaining source of light at the horizon. she took rapid shots , coz within next 15 seconds the sun had gone.
The Items on the beach are , traditional boats, Fishing Nets, and some joggers.
Goans or tourists, who want to experience this lighting, could drop in Early Jan/Feb/Mar and go to Benaulim Beach, next to Pedru Bar & Restaurant.
Today was a day of repairs, all of the things had to happen today. So i had to shuffle myself between alot of stuff.
Morning 9 am, came my car mechanic, with his gang of assistants, to service my car. so i took them to my car parking lot. Luckily the previous night , i got my car parked in the building shaded garage. All the tenants fight to be the first to park here. Luckily i got it. The mechanics where extremely glad.
Morning 9.30 am, came the plumbers, they had to fix a few leaks in the kitchen. But ended up breaking on of the building’s main water supply , which had to force a complete shutdown of the building’s water supply. Luckily the Haris , understood, and allowed us to do it. consequences was that we had a major flooded kitchen. Luckily the guys got it repaired , within 15 mins.. Surprisingly none of the other building tenants knew that the water supply was shut off for about 15 mins.
Morning 10.30 am, came the electrician , to fix some loose wires in the lighting we have in the hall and a few other things..
So i had to coordinate between 3 different situations from time to time. luckily the plumbling and electrical work got over by 12.30 pm. and the car servicing got done by 1.15 pm … 
Now i have good as new vehicle.
What a tiring morning.

Ensure port 3306 , is open in the firewalls between the db server and IIS (its localhost if it is MySQL is installed on the same server. Not many people know that we can use MySQL for our ASP applications. MySQL is extremely strong and powerful as on the same levels as MS SQL . but those who need clustering and redundancy , then MySQL Entreprise Edition is the RDBMS which is needed.
Vertical View, Zita(My Wife), tried getting this photo from a vertical angle from the base of one of the coconut trees in the backyard of our home in Goa. This tree has been like ripped on the side, by toddy tappers, with lots of moss growing.
I have got alot of comments from friends ,that the final heroes should have been more aggressive and more powerful . it should have been a blend between, action, emotions and effects. Somehow the burning fever it created after so many episodes … died in the end.
Nevertheless, it was an amazing plot.

My Wife has started playing with a small camera , i gave her last Christmas. She is still studying the different options , the world of photography and visuals. Lets see , once she gets the hang of it .. i will invest and pick up a good camera.
Right now she is using Casio Exilim Ex - Z70 . its instant and quite good. Its good for basic users, who need to get a good hand and visual on objects.
She Clicked that of Dexter (right) our dog. At the Paws Annual Dog show held at British Embassy Grounds.

Man ,….. im too tensed and waiting for this final episode for season 1 (or i should say for this year ). Heroes Season 1 has been truly amazing, i got many of my friends and family addicted.
i just cant wait for this final episode. Have to download it first thing in the morning…..

I had quite a bit of drive today .. Had a meeting in Farwaniya, then rushed to Kuwait City, then went to Sharq and then reached home at 14.30 pm …. The weather has been crazy, with sandstorms actually hitting the wndshields , while on my way to farwaniya on airport road. Visibility was less than 100 metres. I had a tough time managing my destination, Specially when i had to ensure no one would hit me from the back.
Whats weird is when i reached home . My Car tires looked as if i had gone for a desert safari and was YELLOW with dust. im just imagining ,, taking my Mazda sedan for a desert trip….i dont think i would reach back….
Kuwait weather off late …. just showed us all seasons … (connecting Snow to hallstones). i think the only thing missing now is tornadoes…..

Arabtimes have finally upgraded their website.. it is much much faster than what it used to be … Being one of the leading english dalies in kuwait. it is very necessary to have an amazing site. They still do have to add alot more features for the public, like community modules, forums etc so the public can raise points etc.
i had a brief run through their site.. its quite simple and to the point …Â Its a good thing they kept the design , very plain and simple. it gives the viewer less strain to the eyes, Especially if you going to do alot of reading.
But as i mentioned, they have looooong way to go to be like BBC and others (CNN is scrap). They do need facilities like i can pay my Newspaper subscription through KNET online and also a photo gallery .. of Pictures of the day and also invite other writers / bloggers to give comments and articles…
