Usually Wifi used to be at like Airports, Lounges, Coffee Shops :-) … But Indian IT guys take it to the next level …. at Udupi Indian Restaurant. 

 

Vibin, Sateesh and myself, went to Udupi for lunch recently and among our Bhajis and Thalis, Out came out the laptop and connected to Wataniya  HSPDA. So here we are with so many tiny vessels , on a tiny table, with 3 guys and a laptop with internet. :-) We were quite a scene for many onlookers.

Broke Christmas!

Its going to be a broke christmas for me this year.  Had spent a hell lot of money in the beginning of the month, on investments, treatments, business plans, sendings to india, work etc etc… So im totally broke now.

Its the time of the month, where we eat 100 fils biscuits with tea, for lunch :-)

The Yahoo Weather Widget on my Desktop , Says its 8 Degrees and is raining. So i checked outside. it was drizzling and was quite cold and breezing!. Quite a radical change of climate.

International IP Routes!

For those people , whose websites, Emails dont work today, please note there seems to be some IP route congestion specially if you are going through xxxx.teleglobe.net to xxxx.Level3.net route. Im not sure if this is due to network congestion or some changes happening there.

So ISPs in Kuwait, have not reflected to these change of routes. as everything in Kuwait is Cached, which is very bad. So please run a ” tracert domain.com ” command. Somehow after running this , the routes get cleared and things start working.

Indian Passports Recall (Jumbo) ..

First it was Toys, then dog food, now PASSPORTS? WTF … its like we dont have enough headaches at the Indian Embassy Kuwait.  I recently made a new passport, amidst of all the headache to get it done, then transfer the residence from old passport to new etc etc.

Now Indian Embassy to Kuwait, issued the following notice.

The Government of India would like to recall the following Jumbo Passports issued from the Embassy of India, Kuwait due to technical reasons.

Z-000001 to Z-000500
Z-018031 to Z-019030
Z-026231 to Z-026826

The holders of the above Passport Numbers are requested to visit the Consular Section of the Embassy of India, Kuwait from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on working days to submit their Passports along with dully filled application form and two (2) photographs.

All such passports will be received at Counter Number six (6) in the Consular Hall. In case of any difficulty Mr. Naresh Kumar, Extn: 283 or Mrs. Manju Nanda, Extn. No. 292/200 may be contacted. The Embassy of India, Kuwait will issue fresh Jumbo Passport on Gratis basis on the next working Day.Those who have already left Kuwait may avail this facility from the concerned Mission of India in their country of residence on Gratis basis.The telephone numbers of the Embassy of India, Kuwait are as below:
