Review: 3GGHead Electronics

I had a chance to visit 3gghead electronic today at Baitak Tower in City. A Sophisticated Design Environment, groovy music really gives it an extreme IT environment look. They have the dealership/franchise for Drobo, Asus, and Icidu.

Basically even though they are newcomers in the market and i feel they will do really well. but only if they play their cards right in marketing, promotions and how to tackle the market. They also deal with other great  products like Apple, Genius, Logitech and couple of other things and to be honest, their pricing is quite good. i got a 5 metre HDMI cable for about 5.800 KD, which i feel is a great deal.

So Basically being an IT electronics store. They should seriously concentrate on the corporate market and Make IT guys in companies extremely pampered.  i met mohammed, the salesman there, and he was extremely polite and friendly to help. Now the drawbacks… They do have parking issues, and the valet parking is the only method to get confirmed parking there. So unless 3gghead,  works out some sort of discounts or something like that people are going to have issues coming.  Its hardly known as its a new entity in a dried IT market. but if they do their marketing well, provide awareness, this shouldnt be a problem.

So from a rating 1 to 5(1 being lowest and 5 excellent). i grade them 4 out of 5. They loose 1 point due to the parking issue, unless they sort that out. Oh yes…they need a better website.
