ok i watched it, it is simply AWESOME!!!!!!.

One of the only Hindi Movies i enjoyed!!!!!. The movie is basically a biography of the Ambani Empire , its a rags to riches story. and how he got tortured by the indian government and how he beat all odds to reach the Ambani Empire as of today. after watching the movie, i had to research about Dhirubai Ambani on wikipedia.

And i found out that about 90% of the movie was exactly as per his life story. Ofcourse names had changed, and few parts slightly different. The Casts Abhishek Bachan & Ashwariya Rai, played the roles well.

I would rate this movie 5 out of 5. But keep in mind this a typical business movie and no hindi fights or bad guys. So if you are a business person, or like true story, you would find this interesting.Â

What the heck, half the people I spoke to about the movie really didnt know who any ambani was! I hope its not a majority of the younger generation to just have bollywood stars and cricket players as icons…

i dont think the younger generation knows about any business icons in the industry … i dont think the younger generation would have watched this movie , if Abhishek Bachan & Ashwariya Rai didnt act in it.

    So..it it out on DVD?
I don’t watch Hindi movies, but this looks like something I would like to watch. I admire the meteoric rise of the Ambani empire.

If an Indian (above the age of 16) does not know about Ambani, I feel sorry for him/her.

I caught Guru too……it’s a Hindi movie unlike the typical Hindia-love-triangle movie. I hate hindi movies but decided to watch it based on the posts here. Of course since any Hindi movie is incomplete with the rain-song-dance, had to excuse that.

Must say the Ambani story is marvelous.

I’m tempted now to watch other Hindi-true-life-stories … heard that they are 2 currently: Yo Lamhe (don’t know if I spelled that correctly) & Gangster.

    Check it out!
