Review : SliderStation!

Zita(My Wife) and myself decided to go to SliderStation , this weekend, to try out the hype associated with the place. I didnt know the place, so i called them up on 2465047. The Guy who answered was polite and knew to speak english.

Luckily , he told us to drop in , even though there wasnt any tables, as we could sit by the conveyor belt. So when we reached there, he managed to get us a table upstairs, which had a view of the road outside. The ambience of the place was quite pleasant. It was new to me . The Menu was a pile of papers stapled with a clip.

It gave a very cool feeling , we could overlook the bar counter from the top, I didnt click any snaps as there was some people around it , and didnt want offend them.  We ordered some mini burgers and i ordered the SliderStation Cheese Burger. it was good (but not extremely good). They had a burger(forgot the name) which was around KD 11.000 for it.  I had the mini version of it , and it was simply cooool.

I had taken the photos with my Samsung 1600 phone, but Sadly they didnt have Wifi , so i couldnt moblog or email it out.  Our Desert was the “Dally Chocolate Pudding” which came really hot and was filling.

My Overall Review , is that it is a causal dining place. Not something i would eat everyday as work-lunch routine. Their website is sad, with a blog which isnt updated.  I could get my friends and sit around the converyor-belt as bar counter feeling and sip root beer(they serve dr.pepper) . The Waitors /Waitresses are pleasant to speak to. They are located Opposite Seif Palace, Beside Panini.

They should improvise on the following , offer wifi! , one of their posts on their blog shows DJ events, i dont think there is place to dance around , but it could be good attractive. Offer more drinks or type of drinks … Smoothies etc are offered by Pizzahut .. SS should be more creative.  the conveyor belt concept is good , id prefer they had a Bartendor( atleast to serve snacks , light drinks) in between to the barcounter customers.

I would rate them 3 out of 5
