Review : WokMaster !

Submitted by rayboy on August 11, 2007 – 10:15 am5 Comments

A new restuarant opened near to my apartment. The Shop which hosts “WokMaster” had to be built , so we were wondering what its all about ..Rumors said it would be a pharmacy to the near by Salmiya Clinic, some said a “Shawarma Joint” and some said a Taxi Office.

No one had the closest guess that it would be a “Chinese TakeAway Restaurant”.Once they launched, We started having some Takeways from them . i should say its good with reasonable prices. We ordered basic “Mixed Fried Rice” for KD 2.250 a box, to try them out. Since i stay nearby, they offered to drop it to my apartment. What surprised me is that it came in a cute conical box(rather than the original aluminium foil box from other restaurants)

and the rice was quite rich and filling for both myself and my wife(2 people for a single box). We decided that  its Chinese food for now , since it closer to our place and good food. We always order out, during Thursday nights.

Since its new and got a small list of customers, their quality and speed of service is extremely good . I hope they maintain it this way , once their business picks up.

I would grade them 4.5 out of 5 . They are located on Baghdad street, Behind Kuwaitana Restaurant . Salmiya Clinic Building – Salmiya and can be contacted at 5750081 / 7834336.

I will upload the menu, once i get it scanned.

Ive been on the lookout for a good delivery Asian joint..i Tried it out …..the spicy Singaporean noodles were great….hefty portions …amazed at how a little box can be packed that much …it shows and tastes like they don’t skimp on quality ingredients…hope they keep it up ..
