Kuwait, being a rich country, there are few things i would like Kuwait invest into. So next time, when there is Excess of Money in the country. The Parliament , should pick up this list up. Some of my ideas could be crazy.
Solar Power Farms : Kuwait has huge unused Desert lands up in north and south kuwait. Kuwait has abundant SunShine and having huge Solar Farms, could generate about 40% of the actual power utilization(as of today)Â in Kuwait.Â
GreenHouse Jungle : Ok so what , if Dubai has “Mall of the Emirates” for skiing. Kuwait can have an Amazon jungle in the desert , it could lead for major tourism, over here.
Government Sponsored “Universal” University : Kuwait, should have a government sponsored University for all citizens and Expats unlike. I know a majority of the expats , send their Kids abroad after XII standard as there is nothing here to continue studies, unless they can afford GUST or Australian University.
Mini Rail System : Kuwait should have a mini rail system connecting distances like Jahra, Ahmedi and others, by Speed Train. People should be introduce to these modes of transports, thus removing traffic congestion.
Wimax & VOIP : Kuwait should open its AIRs for wimax and VOIP, thus making Mobile Calls basically FREE!!

these ideas are really cool…especially like the one about the mini rail system…..but this being kuwait its probably not going to happen for a while…..:(
They should also try mobile clinics
Kuwait is going to introduce new rail system.
They have soo much in world bank but the economic growth is very very less percentage.
Eddy , i noticed most of the younger generation of KUwaitis are smart and well disciplined. I hope when they come to power(we would be old by then)… we should hope for a change

The young youth of Kuwait! Hahahahaha! They lack discipline and are freaks! They can’t bring Kuwait to a higher stage!

MpJs …. the few kids i have seen can turn things around . I have met kids who want to start their own Movie directions, I have seen kids working on financial stuff. Kids into Diving and Sealife protection ….

yeah i miss Sheikh Jaber. During his time.. i dont see any Minister grilling and fighitng like uncivilied people everyday. Everything was so peaceful.
What’re you guys going on about Sheikh Jaber for? He definitely had a way with money and could turn a million into a billion in a few year time (He had decent experience in the finance sector as well as a good bunch of financial advisors). He is largely credited with the economic growth that Kuwait has seen during the past two decades.
However economic growth is inversely related to the social growth within the country. While th country got rich the people got frustrated as they were being coerced into becoming pansies. A bunch of people who didn’t have any talent despite their fancy education abroad. I personally thin the new guys is better for the country and has a borader visions than Sheikh Jaber did.
All said and done it will be a while until we see definitive change in Kuwait. So hang on to those ideas in your shopping cart Ray, you’ll get a lot of royalty for them someday!
