I own a Suzuki Samurai Motor Bike - 1998 Model in Goa- India. and it has been my travelling companion since College time. It is a modified bike, with a partial shogan engine i had given it to a friend’s garage to make it an extremely powerful bike for indian roads.
It was launched with an ad campaign of a “NO PROBLEM” bike .. and it lived up to its tag line. It is truely a no problem bike.

Its true specs are a 99.1 CC bike , 2 stroke engine, 4 Manual gears, with a power lever kick start bike. My Friend who masters bikes engines .. manage to modified it into a 150 CC engine , 2 stroke and 4 power manual gears strength, with Dirt road power shocks.
Now this might look like a cycle if compared to Ducati and others. But i would bet that the Ducati and others will not be reach its High speeds on Indian Damaged roads. Riding on Indian Roads , is like riding on a dirt road track. if you are a Speed racer( like on Kuwait smooth roads) , then Indian Roads would be a riding hell. You have to dodge road holes, water puddles, cows, buses and worse is we have to dodge people who roam the roads and the loaded traffic jams.
This bike, has helped me in tough spots, instant emergencies and life threatening situations. The Bike Mileage is 60 kms per Litre of petrol. Unfortunately Suzuki has stopped this bike .. and have launched its successor called TVS Suzuki Victor which isnt so powerful like the Suzuki Samurai.

The rain has made it quite dirty!
yeah … But on the day i travelled back .. made it back sparkling clean!
I had a ‘97 GP, aka Shaolin. Had to sell it before I came to Kuwait
The Shaolin was good bike . it had a fifth gear , if im not mistaken!
Yep thats right !
