Toxic Wastes

I stay near by Salmiya Clinic(private one). So as i was taking Dexter(my dog) for a walk. i  tend to see/find all sorts of things. Dexter (like all dogs) kept sniffing at everything he sees. So when he was particularly curious about something and took a bit longer than normal. i had to inspect it . To my Astonishment i found a used syring, that too with the needle still intact. It was crumpled due to the cars which park around. then since i looked around, i found so many of them all dumped and scattered around, that too at a common place, where loads of people walk.

MOH, must seriously look into such issues, where it could create serious health hazards. Also look into medical Wastes dumping from hospitals before renewing their licenses…. I really dont know what to say !!!

Aren’t the clinics supposed to have a strict policy on waste disposal??!!

Oh yeah, possibly like everything else, this too is required just on paper and not necessarily in practice.

Really hope someone takes note of the problem and does something about it.

my uncle has a dentist friend in the government… and he doesn’t even trust the private sector to fix his kids’ teeth…. the private sector isn’t as “sanitary” as we think it is…!!!!

    Welcome to Kuwait! :)

It is rather sad that a rich country like Kuwait can be so careless about such important health matters.

Before invasion, Kuwait had started planting trees everywhere & everywhere you would see signboards “Keep Kuwait Green”.

Now Kuwait has to start “Keep Kuwait Needle Free”!

This one must be one of those Leftover signs:

Lord Raj: You said it right, its only on paper!

Grey : Its behind my house :-(

CA : Unfortunately Yes!! … its a place we grown up! to see rapid changes :’-(

Cypher : They say, ” the richer you get, the less concerns are these minor matters”

Nicole : the picture is not even a threat!… I like the ones on Traffic Signs, which say “Crossing the red light to cause death” :-).. gives shivers atleast to some drivers.

MPJS : :-) .. on the Airport road it says “Welcome to Kuwait Zoo!”

Yeah, I have one of those somewhere in my files as well.
    Love it ;)
They should put one at the airport.

*Are you sure you want to enter Kuwait?
    It can cause death*

    Doooh ;)

Salmiya Clinic (the private one) just shifted in the next building to occupy the whole building.

Now that it has its own compound, hope they throw their syringes in their own compound.
