Wcube : Roundcube Vulnerabilities Dec2008/Jan2009

Submitted by rayboy on January 8, 2009 – 8:58 amNo Comment

If you are using Linux Hosting and use RoundCube Webmail Client. There is a high possiblity that a potential leak/security hole will be existing. creating DOS attacks to other servers. The Wcube process runs as Apache as a user and you will  find the files under /tmp/ and /tmp/logs/

So do check with your hosting companies. A couple of our servers, were affected. and early morning run through solved our issues. but wasted alot of valuable time. for more details and removal , check it out here.
