Offlate i have been pondering alot about what i have done in the last 30 years of my life… My timeline has been really alot of major and minor events . I seemed to have blanked out most of it , dont know why… !!
But i noticed that some of the things i have done .. has created a major a milestone in my life and the lives of many i know or dont know .. But somehow , i realised now that .. no one even knows who had done it or given them the push to climb up the ladder. Im not trying to brag ….. but its strange that people today who are enjoying things , dont know who are the people involved in building that event.
For Example , in college , my class and the group of its students got together and organised the first Inter-College Games and named it “INNOVATIONS”. The event included inter-college games like debates, singing, sports, dances, art etc. And the best college wins. I remember we faced major problems getting funding, problems in getting things done. But today …. its a major event and is organised flawlessly every year .. its been 10 years now and we seemed to be forgotten .
Its easy to say that we organised this.. But later we realised, that many students through this event learnt about their inner talent, their capabilities or hobbies.
Like this , i feel we have been instrumental in getting many people on with their lives. But end of the day, what you supposed to expect ? atleast a “Thank you!”. What are you expected to have years down the line?
Them celebrating the event is itself a ‘thank you’ …

i find myself asking myself the same thing… what have a i achieved? if you died now, would you have fulfilled something in your life?
