I found this really sad article on indiansinkuwait.com news section. Which says that the ministry of commerce and industry has allowed sale of Air Guns. Air Guns are meant for killing birds, But at short distances can harm humans , and can even kill a human at times.
With, the loads of rowdy kids on the road and troublesome groups. I think Kuwait might become a dangerous place to live in. Check out the article
i agree, but it still wouldnt make a difference since already you could get that gun in the black market. All there doing is marketing it which is wrong.

Big Picture : Actually it would . For example , if it was illegal, then out of 10 bad guys, 4 would get it illegally in the black market. But it was legal 8 bad Guys would get … Thus increasing the problem

Well, Jon Martin, they obviously did buy one or more air guns, because last week has been a drive by shooting at an apartment house in Mangaf and one person got injured.
Go figure.
What really is sad is, that some people either make for a lot of panic or go the other way in the extreme of telling people that everything is alright. It isn’t. Period. Not any more.

17 years in Kuwait, I have not seen one person weilding an air gun, strange may be.
Back after vacation from India for a month I had visited the armoury at Fahaheel to buy an air gun to target practice at home but was informed by the shop keeper that ‘air guns’ cannot be sold to expats other that Kuwaiti nationals… is it true?
Well, I got back disappointed. Back home I own an Indian made Savage .22, heavy stuff.
